Recently, I got some observations for people who not doing well with their manage job. The bad manager is a very big problem in organization. Once they cannot manage their direct report, so no one will work for the business and make the organization shaking a lot.

I know that managing level is always a target for people along their career path but is it okay if someone don’t or shouldn’t become a manager?

I found an very interesting article on LinkedIn which is a comic by Woke Salary, so I would like to share it here together with some of my thought:

1/ There is the fact that sometime individuals are promoted to management position without considering whether the people are good at managing work or not. People think that if they are good at working means that they are also good at managing others to do the jobs. But I do think It’s a big mistake. I know that people all want to be a manager but if we are not ready, I suggest to delay it or if not it’s will DESTROY you. Becoming a bad manager will in turn make others think that you are not good at the job which you used to be. Furthermore, I will make people around you go away.

You will not and cannot just think of yourself, even you always have to care about people under you. It’s sound easy at first, but if you are not really mean it, you will suffer a lot.
